Hey guys and welcome back to a brand new minecraft video where today we're drawing- guess who- tyler the creator :OOO [tw: sw3@.ring in the music :'[ ] click pagedoll or space for next :] this is kinda my chibi artstyle yk bec it was a doodle while i was doing class </3 yuperoo you saw the title im gonna be going an art process thingy [enjoy my poopy pagedoll i messed up on + forgot to make transparent] 1 - reference [im using his pfp] i think a good reference is one with good lighting, high quality, and looks fun / interesting to draw :D ofc this photo breaks some of those rules but yk 2 - sketch. [HELP HE LOOKS CONSTIPATED ☠️] you basically just wanna get the basic shapes, pose, and expression down. no tiny details, because you arent gonna use this later. i trace over the sketch for some reason idk it just makes it easier for me 3 - lineart. [grah i love this drawing] its pretty self-explanatory. all you really wanna do is just draw the outline lol- i use different layers for different parts of lineart. like hat lineart and skin lineart r on different layers so i can color the lineart alot easier :D 4 - okay so this is like base-base colors. no details or anything. i do all the colors on the same layer- ik its prob a bad idea cos like if i mess up on a color that would be annoying but its just a habit ☠️ 5 - details and coloring lineart. i find colors for the lineart by experimenting. i usually colorpick the colors that r like right next to the lines yk and i make the color darker, and usually bring it down the color wheel idk its hard to explain ☠️ but yeah details r just details- not further explaination 6 - erhm so i kinda forgot to add in like 200 steps but i do shading + lighting :O FOR LIGHTING: i create a new layer and make it "add" and then use the blur tool to make it look good ☠️ i used white for this drawing :] FOR SHADING: idk its rlly rlly different depending on what drawing im doing :0 for this one i created a new layer and made it "soft light" then i shaded with black :D if the lighting was yellow then i prob woulda done dark blue for shading ☠️ basically all you gotta do is opposite colors for shading and lighting idk thanks for listening to my poopy explanation ☠️☠️☠️ (this is exactly why i cant be a teacher ☠️) All art is by me, @loqstsovl- Photo is of tyler, the creator song is she by tyler, the creator + frank ocean :D magnify code is by
