TURN ON TURBO MODE FOR FASTER GENERATION! Hold shift and click green flag then press green flag again to start. Click space to open and close the controls: • Distance between sources - changes horizontal gap between the sources of the waves. 0 = full overlap. • Y-offset - changes Y position of sources • Scale - zooms in and out, higher means more waves are shown • Colour? - 0 = greyscale, 1 = colourful • Contrast - More contrast makes the variation of the colour/ brightness more extreme which can look good or very messy. • Resolution - Number of pixels each point takes up, higher for better performance but worse quality • Animation speed - ONLY USE ON LOW RESOLUTION ON FAST DEVICES FOR A GOOD EFFECT! 0 = No animation, then the number represents the phase shift of the wave per frame on animation.
A simulation of water waves or light waves interfering, causing constructive and destructive superposition. All code by me. Idea was inspired by cool physics teacher.
