Take this into account: - i live in australia (not every country) - most of the time taken in highschool - CERTAIN schools over it, NOT all!!
IB stands for International Baccalaureate, a system of education IB is demanding and is the most difficult course during highschool but is recognised worldwide, MEANING it is easy to apply to universities of all kind, community, private, ivy universities (yale, harvard etc) but. earning something called college credits. Instead of ATAR scores (your country may call it something different and not ATAR), it will be changed to an IB score. Students that don't take IB will be given an ATAR score. In Australia, in the part I live, there are highschool academies for the high achieving where IB is mandatory and is already prepared in grade 7 (first year of highschool in australia) other schools usually prepare in grade 10 but start in grade 11 and finish in grade 12. the most common pros people talk about are students career opportunities. for those who want to travel overseas, IB is recommended but not MANDATORY. goodluck to everyone.. stay consistent in your studies, don't give up, i believe in you!! i promise its so satisfying to see your personal growth and achievements over a course of time <33
