------- Valleyclan Ranks Info Secrets Of The Trees Roleplay ------- High Ranks - Leader The highest rank in Valleyclan. Overseer of everything that happens in the clan, leader of meetings, patrols, battle, and practically everything else. In Valleyclan, the leader's words and authority are not to be questioned, and if a cat does, they will be considered a traitor and either banished or taken down a rank. Suffix always ends in "Star". Leader's apprentice/heir - Next in line for to become leader. Personally trained by the leader. They are chosen as a kit, and on the day of their apprenticeship, the leader makes the big announcement. It's a great honor to be the heir, and you must not turn the offer down. If this cat dies, the leader has to choose a new cat to replace them. Second-in-command - Basically the leader's assistant/advisor. Tells them about the news/gossip within the clan, cannot become leader unless both the leader and heir dies. Healer - The healers of Valleyclan hold great power. Aside from the second-in-command, they are the leader's most trusted advisor(s). These cats don't necessarily have a strong bond with the Stars, and instead just heal the clan. If there is more than one healer, the cat with the most experience becomes the lead healer. Star Teller - The Teller Of Stars, or Prophecy Receiver. These cats are the most in touch with the Stars, receiving prophecies and guidance from their ancestors. A cat becomes a Star Teller if a starry cat appears in their dreams as a kit, guiding the along the path of a Prophecy Receiver. -------- Middle Ranks Mediators - Cats who repair relationships and restore peace within the clan. These cats are most of the time elders that instead of retiring, choose to help their clan in a different way. Guards - These cats keep guard over the camp, normally taking shifts during the night to watch for any possible threats. Depending on how much experience a cat has, they get placed in special area. Those with high experience are the bodyguards for the leader, middle experience cats guard the borders, and cats with the least experience keep watch over camp. Warriors - Warriors are separated into two classes, hunter and fighters. All cats can hunt and fight as they please, but are trained to be experts in a certain area. Once a cat becomes an apprentice, they get to choose what they to be. Apprentices - Cats over the age of 6 moons. Once it's time to be apprenticed, they get to choose what they want to be. That's unless they get chosen by The Stars, the leader, or the healers. ------- Minor roles Queens/caretakers - Cats who've either recently had kits, or dedicated their life to taking care of kits. Mostly, caretakers take care of abandoned or orphaned kits that come into Valleyclan. Kits - Cats under the age of 6 moons, most of the time confined to the nursery until they become apprentices. Elders - The oldest cats in the clan, those who have retired from their roles. These cats tend to be some of the wisest, besides the Star Tellers of course. They often serve as storytellers to the kits. Prisoners - Cats taken hostage by the clan or outsiders caught on clan territory. These cats normally don't stay in the clan for long, but are kept in a small spare den at the edge of camp.
