They were all shocked when they found out he was an animus, but he didn't know what to do with his powers so he never really used them. But then he and his sister found out that his brother was in love with a Nightwing, which was forbidden. All three of them knew their parents wouldn't approve, so Ash and his sister promised Wolf they wouldn't tell as long as he went away, because they knew their parents would find out eventually. But then, Ash met a Rainwing named Clematis, and he fell in love with her. His family wouldn't approve of that either, because they were all about pure blood, and Clematis's family didn't approve either. Ash and Clematis decided that they would live in a cave near Wolf and Spiritclaw, so they ran away.
