‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ┊INTRODUCTION┊: ‎ -------------------------------------------------------------------- ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ↳ hello!! welcome to my 1st journal entry! :D ‎ -------------------------------------------------------------------- ‎ ‎ the first page will be about finding YOU, without ‎ worrying about other people influencing your journey, ‎ ‎ ‎this is such an important topic!! and it's hard if you ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ have other bad influences in the way </3 ‎ ‎ ‎ first of all, whether you're a different race, ethnicity, aesthetic, or non-aesthetic, you're an amazing person, ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ and your journey is completely valid!! <33 ‎ ‎i'm Olivia, and here to help you on your journey to figure out who you are, and how to further embrace ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ yourself to be the absolute best you can be! ‎ ‎ ‎ imagine yourself having no other influences around you... you would be nothing! the world revolves around ‎ ‎influences, this is the same way with every art!! from ‎ ‎ painting, to technology, and advanced modeling ! so don't be upset or disappointed in yourself when you find out you're highly influenced, this is with everyone, and unfortunately it's just how our generation is! but i ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ promise, it CAN be moldable!!! ‎ ‎ -------------------------------------------------------------------- ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Chapter #1 --- UNDERSTANDING VALUES ‎ ‎ -------------------------------------------------------------------- ‎ first and foremost, you need to understand your ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ values, everybody has them! i'm all about this, it's basically a central part of who you are, and who you want to become. by becoming more aware of your values, you can start embracing yourself, and use them as a guide to make the best decision in any situation!! so, how do you define your ‎values? you can do this by understanding and answering the following questions to yourself: ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ 1. what makes me happy? ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ 2. what makes me proud of myself? ‎ ‎ 3. how did these experiences give me meaning in ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ your life? once you answer these, you understand your values! and this is the key for your happiness.. your values and passions!!! so, what are YOUR values? -------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter --- YOUR VALUES -------------------------------------------------------------------- there are plenty of values!! here's a common list of them : accountability, perfection, expertise, positivity, boldness, results-oriented, quality-orientation, calmness, fluency, balance, assertiveness, generosity, consistency, self-reliance, service, honor, etc etc! there are SO many!! and by figuring out what makes you truly happy with yourself, and happy with society... you're understanding your values! and when you understand your values, you have to put them to use! -------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter --- PUTTING THEM TO USE -------------------------------------------------------------------- i want you each day, no matter how bad of a day you're having, or how mad you are, practice giving to other people your happiness, this is key!! put your values to use! let's say your value is honor, practice that! when other people see you happy, you're doing not only yourself a favor, but you're doing them a favor as well ! like i said from the beginning, people are HIGHLY influenced!!! psychologically when you put your values into use, you obtain inner-peace, and therefore finding and understanding YOU! <333 -- that part will come naturally, just focus on putting your values into use, the rest will come into play!! and remember : values = happiness ^^ -------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter --- PATIENCE -------------------------------------------------------------------- don't forget, give yourself some cooling time, don't over work yourself!! let everything come naturally, your values will constantly change as you get older, they involve your passions and hobbies! so as you change your hobbies, your values will change, it takes time ! and patience is always key, so take your time with everything you do, especially with an important decision of making a difference, and giving back to the society!! <333. and of course, all this goes hand-in-hand with getting to know Christ (Yeshua), he's the answer to everything! :D -------------------------------------------------------------------- - made with love, Oli! ᵇᵉ ᵖᵒˢⁱᵗⁱᵛᵉ --------------------------------------------------------------------
