Here it is, the sequel for the unfinished MM1! There were too many assets to make a complete game, so here is Part 1, Part 2 being the finale. This is my finest piece of work as of now. The game is fully-updated, but I will freely take suggestions and ideas from the few who will play it and the fewer who like it. Part 2 is already complete and ready to play. Link Here. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/149682811/ BIONICLE: Machinery Mission follows the mysterious story of how six Toa are placed inside capsules, hidden away for an unknown purpose. When one is accidentally released, he searches for others, passing obstacles along the way. As more and more Toa are freed, they follow the trail closer to the answer to their mystery... why are they here?? There are in-game tips, but here are some anyway: Typical "Arrow Keys to Move, Space to Shoot" mechanics as always. Use the number keys to switch from Toa to Toa. The bar at the top RIGHT will show you which Toa is selected, as well as the order you obtain them. Ice is 1, Water is 2, Earth is 3, Fire is 4, Stone is 5, and Air is 6. The bar at the top LEFT shows your health. To pass a room, reach the blue portal, and be sure to have defeated ALL enemies first, as there is a glitch which may multiply more. You will unlock more characters as you go along, and each one has its own abilities: The Toa of Ice can shoot in a curve, creating a force field while attacking. Note: Force field does not deflect projectiles but will hurt any who come near it. The Toa of Water can run fast at the price of shooting slow. She can also swim in water areas. The Toa of Earth can dig underground and run past enemies. The Toa of Fire has incredible triple-attacking powers. He is also immune to fire and lava. The Toa of Stone can break walls (there are only walls in part 2), but runs slow. The Toa of Air can--unless you probably already know-- fly over unbreakable objects. As of now, you can control all 6 characters, as they are unlocked in-game. This game uses Cloud Data, allowing you to save progress (unless-- I'm guessing-- you close the window or current tab you are in). I hope at least more than one person looks at it. :( *UPDATE: 57 views. Okay, better than most games I've made. Note: For the parcour level with a giant Rahkshi head spitting out lava, the Fire Toa and Air Toa are "restricted"; they will get hurt if switched to.
This list is going to be long... --Golden Miru for Cloud Data programming inspiration. (I saw that he used a users list, which was the inspiration given to me, but I didn't actually copy the program) Also for incredibly large feedback and support! --Tessaract Studios and other sources for how to initially use platforming codes (This was when I was an early Scratcher, although as I have created more and more projects the coding has been a little more modified.) --Biomediaproject for a majority of the music. --AquaTales (the movie) credits music (Used in the game). Will remove upon request. --Scratch for this amazing website and sfx. --W101, MNOG, VNOG, Bionicle Heroes, and Transmorpher 2 for background landscape ideas. --Bionicle and the Lego Group for theme inspiration.
