Use W A S D Q and E to rotate the sphere.
A little editing and you could have a death star. I may have to try that someday. The sphere rotates a lot slower about its own axis because each translation about its axis requires five translations about the x y and z axes. For some reason if you rotate the sphere on its axis using q and e initially before making any other rotation it messes up the wireframe. I have no clue why this is happening.
