Hello! So, about a month ago, my two lovebirds, Jack and Juniper hatched two tiny little chicks. My older brother and I started to wonder what colors the chicks my be. And thats when I created this. Anyways, its really simple. All you have to do is chick the green flag and the chicks will genorate! About: My main resson for making this was to see a little bit more about how color muntations in lovebirds work. You see, lovebirds have been pets for a really long time, and odvisly, the birds would sometimes have chicks. Somtimes, a chick would hatch that had a color muntation! Thats where the cells fail to make somthing wen the chick is forming in the egg. Ever heard of a white tiger or a white lion? They get that way from color muntations! Turns out, somtimes lovebirds carry the gene of a color muntation from their parents but it dosn't show up in their feathers. This is called a Split color muntation. Somtines a parent lovebird who has a split color muntation can have a baby who shows the muntation in their feathers. Hope I annyoyed some people with this!
All of this art was made on the vector on scratch :3 Chick update: So, the chicks are about a month old now, and they're starting to grow their feathers! So far Cash(the oldest) has gotten his red face and is starting to grow some green feathers! And we still havn't found out what Hope will look like
