Shoutouts to ash_xiii for knowing way more about programming than me lol idk what I'm doing but if I ever wanna make this game happen I might as well do it myself and luckily I found some help so god forbid this'll progress faster I plan on making a first level demo through scratch, then working on an actual game with...something? I dunno, I'm not a coder and I don't know what's easiest tbh. Was considering playing around with Unity about two seconds before that became nonviable. Any assistance would be appreciated. THINGS THAT WILL BE ADDED IN THE FUTURE: -4 playable characters (in the full game there will be 4 player co-op, and instead of lives, I plan on having the player switch to one of the remaining characters when the current character dies) -Actual original characters -Voice acting (it will suck until I find some VAs that aren't just me mumbling into a mic) -Original music that shifts depending on what character is being played (in 4 player co-op, this will start with whichever character player 1 is playing, then switch to the most recent character to tag in) -morale/relationship mechanic (not sure how it'll work yet, essentially just reveals more about characters the more you play as them, only in main game as the demo will just be the intro level and cutscenes) -each character will play different (one character may have a dash while one has a glide etc) -revisitable maps (only in main game) Not abandoned was just straight up-homeless
