The timer is on the bottom left and shows how much time you have remaining. Gimli's score and high score are on the top left. Score shows how many orcs you got and the high score shows the most orcs people have gotten while playing Gimli. Legolas's high score and score are in the top right. See above for score descriptions. 1 point is given for each orc touched. When your 30 minutes are over, the hippo will tell you who won and end the contest.
