"At the request of @Brd6147, I threw together some possible alternatives to the limitless free will offered by Pathfinder in its current state." "Please note that most none of these are serious considerations, and are mainly to help get the thought train rolling. Ideas are welcome, as is constructive criticism." A) Never let anyone interact with each other. A solitary existence, surely. One that would prevent undue suffering, but may also take the purpose out of life. B) Some sort of punishment for intruding on free will. Intrusions would include deadlocking, destroying, blackmailing, etc. Punishment could be obliteration, pain, some sort of 3-strike system, etc. C) Only some people get free will, namely those deserving. This is morally troubling, and would also be hard to achieve. The standard of "deserving" must be ethically based for any improvement to occur, so no rule of strength or anything like that. D) Everyone gets free will, and the right to intrude on other's, but offer some sort of help to the oppressed. Perhaps the balance (or shmalance) of power could see a facilitated flip-flop every so often. E) Pending Discussion.
