How a character changes over time... (Phantost)

I slapped this together in 10 min to kinda show my art progress and a recent redesign of a character I made back in 2021 named Phantost! enjoy! (* = Maybe a little before that time bc that project took time to make) Read about each change below! Spacebar / click / tap for next! 1) Thumbnail! I know that my handwriting is a mess (and i also wrote that with my finger) so if you can't read it it says "Character redesign yay" 2) *5/Feb/2021: The first art I ever did w/ Phantost! It was one of my first memes actually coded by me. I got a lot of inspiration of @OmbraTheFurry2 's art at that time. You can see the head is pretty big and it uses a more 'kawaii' style, more noticeable in the next two or three drawings. 3) 6/Feb/2021: Just A DAY later, I was playing around on Chrome Canvas and I did this little doodle of Phantost. Here was when the more neon colors popped up. (Also why did I shade it he's a ghost-) 4) *25/Feb/2021: This was a collab meme with @T-rexYT ! (Her art is not on this screenshot, the white character is a base. The collab is done tho, if you find it check the remixes). In here, I kept the neon colors and it was also the first time I drew him fullbody! (he doesn't have legs bc... Ghost). Not much to say apart that here his hands started having more of a 'drop' shape. 5) *27/Mar/2021: Unshared and unfinished coding test. I lost motivation so here he doesn't have ears. BUT, you can see I added a scar on the other side of the forearm. That's pretty much it. 6) 27/Mar/2021: This was a remix of an @OmbraTheFurry2 meme. In the desc. it says "I didn't draw Phantost with his actual proportions because I was lazy lol" but, ironically, that's mostly the reference I used for the redesign. In the project, a smile with pointy teeth appears, but just for expression, also paired with 'X' pupils. We'll get to that later. I didn't really add much to the design here, apart from the accidental disproportions which look better in my opinion. 7) 3/Dec/2023: Here we are. I did the redesign a couple of months ago, don't have the file on this laptop... Maybe another time. I added whiskers and made the sharp teeth and 'X' pupils permanent features. Also, the face is not blue anymore. I slightly shifted the colors to make more contrast and added a couple new scars here and there, changed others, etc. I also added more hair on the joints and exaggerated features like the ears and "side face hair". Another change that can't be seen here is that I changed the hands' shape to be more similar to a regular hand and not so much like a paw. Couple of changes here and there to fit more my actual artstyle and we're done! Maybe I should bring back the neons... Hope ya enjoyed this lil art journey! Should I redesign more of my old OCs?
