Jaide is a cat with wings that take the form of paper fans. She’s very mischievous, and often attempts to charm her way out of trouble. She never causes any real harm, not intentionally at least. She likes making small clay sculptures. Her mischievous nature often leads her to make devious schemes and long-cons for the sheer absurdity of it. Jaide unfortunately has went through with very few of these, and they weren’t her most extravagant. She’s missing one eye, and therefore has somewhat limited depth perception. This tampers her ability to fly. She still flies sometimes, but very low to the ground. Livia and Jaide are very good friends. She gets very annoyed about people assuming her name is Jaiden. It’s Jaide. Rhymes with lemonade. It means green. Her ears are not paper fans, since fan-winged cats don’t have the proper ear structure. Any fan-winged animal with floppy ears can have fans for ears, though. Her eye loss isn’t important to the plot, she just doesn’t have a right eye. There are a few lines of dialogue referencing it, though. ——— So, it’s official, I’m turning the story that Jaide and Livia are a part of into a comic. The Moonbeam’s shadow is on hiatus, as well as Warped, since the idea of this other comic makes me really happy and I’m kinda burnt out on my other stories. It’ll be kinda slice of life-y, but unlike strudalupa it has a plot! I’m still coming up with some plot points, as well as the title. There are many more characters to add to the main cast, too. The first chapter will likely come out in a few months! Stay tuned for updates!
