Genre: Fantasy Prompt: An antique shop owner discovers a cursed medallion. ~ It was time to close up shop for the day. The dealer looked around her and for once, saw nothing but the chipped walls and useless bric-a-brac that she was forced to inherit. After grandma passed away this place never possessed the same kind of spirit. It used to be filled to the brim with customers, but now… well lets just say that the history in this place has never been so skillful at helping people to not wake up in the morning. Today, however, the dealer had felt a rare power emanating from deep within the collection, and by noon she had found the source. A small medallion. At a glance its value seemed less than satisfactory, but her old specialty used to be that she was able to see beyond the junk and into the relic itself. It must have been centuries old and could have even been worth quite a lot, had it not been made oh so obviously out of fake gold. Its ancient markings seemed to call out to her, almost for her, and the more she studied it throughout the day, the more entranced she became by it, and by the time she had started walking home, the dealer knew that her enslavement would be worth it in the end.
