It has been a hot minute since I've drawn a warrior cats character but I love this guys design so here we are lmao I'll definitely be sure to add more art later if I have time :] (Btw I'm sorry if my wording is weird it is 4am writing this and my brain is running on only caffeine and cannot function currently) - Art - 1. Character sheet . Not really a reference and the design is off in some places, but I wanted to get a general feel for what he looked like 2. Process thingy . Just the process of making the character sheet 3. Actual reference sheet . Figured I should actually make one lol (scars aren't on this one so you can see the design clearer) - Bio - Name: Badgerclaw Gender: male (he/him) Clan: ThunderClan Rank: Deputy "Allegiances" description: A strong dark tabby tom with blue eyes. Badgerclaw is a rash and rather dense cat. He's not stupid, but he doesn't often think through his actions thoroughly. In his eyes, this isn't a problem; he gets the job done. Badgerclaw's recklessness is only maybe rivaled by his ego. Even since Badgerclaw was an apprentice he's had an air of arrogance and supiority. He's headstrong and once he decides something, he'll stick with it and will not let it go. But despite his shortcomings, there's no denying Badgerclaw's valor and strength. His courage is just admirable as it is foolish. He's not exactly close to anyone in the clan. In fact, he's a major annoyance to the cats that were apprentices at the same time as him. Badgerclaw never had a respect for his peers (even if he expected respect from them). As he's gotten older, he's become less outwardly harsh but the grudge is still there on both sides. The rest of the clan has mixed feelings, but the senior warriors do see his potential. However they certainly worry of his blind ambition and what his leadership could mean for the clan. He may not have bad intentions, but his ignorance is quite the concern. Kits look up to him, he is the clan deputy after all, and the queens are kind of obligated to acknowledge he's a strong warrior (even if they think he's a coward, he's still a role model and most don't want to ruin the perfect image for the kits). Most the apprentices however are less forgiving, and as they get older realize he's not a perfect cat. They would never say it to his face but they probably don't respect him as much as they might have when they were kits. On the other hand, the medicine cat thinks he's a full-on mousebrained fool, though its a somewhat affectionate title for him. Through his many injuries the medicine cat has gotten the displeasure of spending lots of "quality time" with him. Usually his visit entails him complaining and demanding he be back on his paws and working. He will refuse to rest, even if he knows he should respect a medicine cats orders. Its just so patronizing to be sitting in a den all day being cared for by another cat. I imagine the leader chose him as deputy expecting him to die of an infected wound or something (like cmon he has so many scars, one's bound to get infected. you could interpret it as him being tough but he's also just really accident prone and does not think of safety first) and not make it to leadership, but they apparently didn't think through his stubbornness and is kinda stuck with him. He'll probably be leader someday, and hopefully he'll mature some more before then. That or he'll lose all nine lives to infections. Character design by Song is Andy, You're a Star by The Killers (If I win I'll definitely make an amv of him with this song)
