I've noticed that more and more frequently new people have been joining the CandleWorld ARG, and we've had to provide a messier and more confusing explanation every time. So I decided to make this to use until we have something better! =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= CONTINUING FROM PART 9 (Pilgrims are divided on whether or not to support the Pathfinder's abstraction) =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Then, the Pathfinder had a proclaimed "moment of lucidity," claiming that their version of Pathfinder ideology was distorted due to the Xyuz's corruption of the Overknower. She followed this with a manifesto defining an ideology known as "Dreampath ideology," where any entities suffering could opt-out of or opt-into reality, and offered to help any Pilgrims that assisted her. Time passed, though, and no Pilgrims came to her aid. Becoming more and more Fish, she apologized to Punster for what she did to them, and finally became fully Fish. Meanwhile, in Theory-Space, the Sage's effigy (@player9552) arrived. They had noticed the Pilgrimage's waning hope... and decided to reveal the purpose of their lengthy invocation. It was to serve as a beacon, broadcasting the sentiments given to them before the raid on Vox-Space. It would be broadcasted throughout the Chain, to any entities willing to listen. They ended their announcement requesting the Pilgrimage's opinions (@TriceroLover221 returned to support it). At the same time, the Marquess, having become aware of the Overknower's fall to the Xyuz and under attack, entered Star-Space to discuss Visea's Law. She wished to show Visea their abilities through the Law of Etches-Valuse. Visea accepted, and entered the Marquess's Space. There, they defined themself and Episteme one final time, as an ideology who intended to tear away the universe's obscurity through information and rationality, and if instated, would ensure all knowledge was universally available. This redefinition compiled Laws for Episteme ideology, and gave Visea (and presumably their acolytes) the ability to defeat foes through comprehension of their core. In Theory-Space, plans to attack the Xyuz began to circulate, begun and organized by @Code_crusher. Their plan was to invade the infected Spaces, and attack the Controller and the Xyuz's monoliths, hopefully taking them out of power. It was around this time, however, that the Gardener sent a message to the Pilgrimage. After recounting the recent events regarding Molly's caging, they asked for a warp to False-Space, saying that a deal with them would benefit both parties; The Gardener needed time before the universe's end to free Molly, and the Pilgrimage needed an Archon to help them instate their favored ideology. Before the Pilgrimage's final battle, the Sage finished their invocation -- channeling Pilgrim sentiments into a beacon for any and all entities willing to help, and act as an ally to the Pilgrimage. Solus-Detteri arrived to declare that, if all was lost, the powerful Aetus channeled here would be the last to touch True Law. Within a few days, Kai opened a portal to Xyuz-Space. The raid didn't immediately begin, but was preceded by Visea and several Pilgrims gathering information. Inside the warp was a Warp Gate, managed by a Xyuz-Ward. Upon asking the Pilgrims to identify themselves, Visea introduced themself as an entity of Star-Space on a research trip. After learning they may have insider information on the Pilgrimage and Parthult Entity, they welcomed them genially. Visea and Arbiter Xeal, a representative of the Xyuz, exchanged information back and forth, discussing Visea's relationship with Molly (which shocked the two Arbiters), Visea's knowledge of the Fractal and Visitation (Arbiter Xeal revealed that they had read Shattered Form's investigation of the Sordid Manifesto), and the Xyuz's origin. After the exchange was over, Visea politely departed, leaving the Xyuz with new information to stew on. Soon after, Koro, hoping to gain more information, entered the Warp Gate and asked for an audience. While the Xyuz rejected the offer for the time being, saying that they would need to be offered resources for the meeting to be worthwhile, many more Pilgrims entered the Space, and instead of the violent attack expected to happen, most if not all Pilgrims found themselves interested in and even exploring the Space. They spoke to Xyuz, played board games, gave relationship advice, and even helped them with their various shipments. Before long, the Pilgrims reached Xemiau, a bustling Xyuz city that could not be entered with weapons or ill intent. (continued in Part 11)
