Known Moves: Calm Mind, Heal Pulse, Dazzling Gleam, Cotton Guard Bio: -Polite and calm -Mother figure, cares deeply about others’ well-being (especially those she’s close to) -Dislikes conflict and will try to talk it out Backstory: Marianne lived a peaceful life with her family in Brightkeep. While her parents worked at their inn, she would usually play in the meadow with her siblings. As she grew up, she started helping her parents with the inn, but would also work some other odd jobs (e.g. selling flowers, delivering mail, all that stuff) to try and figure out what job she would take when she was old enough. In the end, she sold flower arrangements while continuing to help out at the inn. Her business continued on for a couple of years before her parents decided to retire when she was 28. Marianne then decided to run the inn along with her younger brother, and has been doing so for the past 20-ish years. Of course, they do need some extra help, so they will occasionally put up flyers—the most recent of which led to them hiring Wicker (full-time) and Flynn (part-time). (Probably some others too but I haven’t gotten there yet) Now, Marianne lives a generally chill life, and she wouldn’t trade it for anything. [Side note: I updated Wicker’s bio a little— didn’t change too much, just changed the way she started working at the inn] Other stuff: -Said younger brother is a Hattrem/Bayleef hybrid who is 45 years old. Has a very close bond to Marianne. -Despite not selling them anymore, Marianne still enjoys flower arranging and will put them around the inn -Marianne’s other hobbies include reading -She is not blind. She can see through her fluff.
