Ghoulmet art and design by @Im_Reeses_Bear Edgelord Ghoulmet art and design by me Both helm designs were inspired by LEGO helmet pieces Crazy idea: Say that Ghoulmet is just wandering around when a Dark Pokemon shows up and pretends to be his friend, then uses an emotional appeal as a psychological weapon against Ghoulmet to stir up its emotions. This causes Ghoulmet to succumb to the extreme anger and frustration inside and it does the aangry floating tornado thing. The intensity of Ghoulmet's emotions paired with the destabilization of the precarious balance between Ghoulmet's fragile existence and the immeasurable power of Ghoulmet's soul almost breaks the stone, but then a new enlightenment from Kira or the ghost of Tooth Grinder and a spark of determination fixes the stone, and Ghoulmet transforms into edgelord Ghoulmet. He is now essentially immortal (aside from being killed), his iron will has transformed his helmet from an anchor holding him in the living world to a nearly impenetrable shield and sort of "resistor" for the power within Ghoulmet's soul, like how armored mewtwo's armor was meant to restrain mewtwo's power, and his stone is transformed from a fragile vessel of Ghoulmet's life force into a conduit for Ghoulmet's soul, further allowing for the control and manipulation of his great power. Also, should he eventually reach the point of death, he could turn back into a Shelmet, die painlessly and peacefully, holding the stone, and then his body will dissipate, leaving only the shell/helmet and the stone. That honestly sounds way too cool to pass up, and it would make for the perfect character arc! On second thought, I seriously doubt that would be allowed in PotHS, and the original ghoulmet is already kinda pushing it. Alternate idea: make my edgelord design a replacement character for when Ghoulmet dies and have him be a normal hybrid between Galarian Yamask and Armarouge.
