Click, press the up arrow key or press the space key to fly. Don’t touch the pipes. WARNING: In this remix, I've decided to implement an Icarus-like element. Too high, and the sun will scorch the flappy bird; too low, and the sea will splash it down! You can turn music off and on by pressing M. And the backdrop scroll works a little better if you press the menu button between retries, for some reason.
I changed the Flappy Bird art (made this one myself), added the music tracks (from the Scratch library), and added the Icarus code. Check out the original project! #game #mythology THE TALE OF ICARUS AND DAEDALUS Once upon a time, Daedalus the inventor was imprisoned in Crete because he pushed his nephew, Talus, off a cliff. He had a kid named Icarus, and he made them both wings so they could fly back to his homeland. Daedalus warned Icarus that if he flew too low, the water would splash onto his wings and weigh him down, and if he flew too high, the sun would melt the wax in his wings! But Icarus flew too high, even with this warning, and his wings failed. He fell and he drowned. Daedalus recovered his body and buried him at shore.
