(that's me B]) January :: My original name for the piece : Angel My new name for the piece : A whole buttload of snazzy effects, greenscreen, and OOH IS THAT A BUTTERFLY????? . Even now I'm pretty proud of this piece honestly!! I rocked those colors, though the lines and anatomy are pretty funky, it's a blast of notalgia <333 ALSO AHEM OLD WATERMARK WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE ABOUT THAT LMBO- Febuary :: My original name for the piece :: Dorothy but Sunsetkit My new name for the piece :: ahem we haven't gotten that copyright yet haven't we beta- WOOO DARTHY IN NOT-KANSAS LAND CROSSOVER WOOOO but seriously- . A couple years back (probs 2021??) I made a little character I dubbed with the name Sunsetkit- IF YOU COULDN'T TELL I WAS ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED WITH ORANGE *COUGH** but overall I actually kind of like this piece!! There's the old soft lighting, and the expression is pretty dynamic <33 WOO SLAY, OLD ME- March :: My old name for the piece : Citrus My new name for the piece : i could really go for some orange juice right now WAIT IS THAT ORANGE JUICE- . Ah, memories!! This was part of a plan to make two more main oc's for me!! I would be named bluebear/citrus and have two oc's for the two parts of myself!! The other counterpart never was *cough* finished- Imagine a pale golden bear based on blueberry pie WOOO THAT WAS BLUEBEAR <333 Overall though this piece isn't too bad!! It really does reflect my old style woo!! <3 April :: My old name for this piece :: Russet <3 My new name for this piece :: <3 Rest in piece, Russet :) . I made this for after she lost her pet cat, Russet. Still really happy for this piece, and I'm so glad that it made a difference to the owner in any way <3 . Oh my goodness even 7 months later I still absolutely love this piece, this is the major marker of when my art style started to become more defined and 3d!! I'm going to admit, however many COUGH LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE ANATOMY MISTAKES I MEAN CARDINALPAW WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR EAAAAR THE CHILD NEEDS SERIOUS HELP LMBO- There's a lot of positives about this drawing!! I used it mainly for background (i need help drawing treessss uvu) and lighting practice with some lineart that I copy pasted from the ref sheet for the child!! <3 I believe this is the month I parted from my drawing tablet for the first time?? THAT MEANS trauma u-u July :: My old name for this piece :: arsun My new name for this piece ayyy :: EMO GOTH CHILD COMMITTING ARSON AND NOT QUEsTionING LIFE CHOICES AHHHHHH WATCH OUT WOO . I was going through a couple life events during this time, so this would be the only art piece I would make during this month <33 . AF attack on Gummyfrog!! Ahh there are actually some amazing parts to this piece wow!! I used kleki for it, so it added a little pizzazz to the art piece wahoo!! <33
July :: My old name for the piece :: GotthetabbackOPENFIENPFOSENGOPIWNOPIT My new name for this piece :: WOOOOOHOOO LET'S GO BEARIAL DO THAT DYNAMIC DANCE MOVE!! <333 . This was the first time I got my tablet back and as you can imagine I was absolutely ECSTATIC AHHHHH I MADE SO MANY ART PIECES WITH THE IMPROVEMENT I GOT SOLELY FROM DOING TRADITIONAL ART WOOOO!! i miss my drawing tablet :) <3 . Wooo I'm actually really happy with this!! It mixes the crisp and smooth aspects of my style at the time, and the lighting IS ABSOLUteLY SLAYYY ORANGE MY BELOVED WAHHH <333 August :: My old name for this piece :: HIMHERWHAAAAASO COOOOOL My new name for this piece :: flappy don't you dare overeat i am your loving fathermother and if you do I'm going to the shelter without you AND YOU'LL BE SAD GRRRRR . Again here's another piece that I absolutely LOVE EVEN 500 MONTHS AFTER IT'S BEEN MADE ADK:FJLSDKFJ:LSDKFJLKSDJF i mean it's rain world whats to complain about >:] . Overall I'm just really glad how the composition came out when it comes to this one <33 THOUGH GRRR THE BACKGrOUND AND PLANT COULD HAVE BEEN SO BETTER PLACED AND EXECUTED GRRRRRSKDJ:FLJSDFL:KJ flappy <3 September :: My original name for this piece : XANTHESCRUFFY My new name for this piece : listen to the person above they know what they're talking about :D . OML I'M REALLY HAPPY WITH THIS ONE LMBO- This was an AT with @socksareforlosers a good while back haha! tell me if i got the appropriate amount of floofiness muahahaha!! :DD . Though my anatomy and volume could still use some *cough* work in this piece, I'm really happy with the gist, composistoin, color and line placing, and stylisation of this piece!! <3 November (almost there!!) :: My name for this piece :: PEACEMAKER MORE LIKE BERRYMONGER- . My first painted piece!!! OH MY GOODNESS I LOVE THIS SO MUCH- PAINTING ON KRITA IS MY LIFE NOW /jj . I lost my drawing tablet again this month due to irl large events, but I found out krita actually works for me AND AHHHSDFHLSDJ:FLKSDJF I'M SO HAPPY IT'S NOT GRUELING TO WORK WITH MY TRACKPAD ANYMORE AND THE RESULTS- I'm really glad that I found out this aspect of my style, suffice to say <33 Also entry for @socksareforloser 's DTIYS!! <3 December WOOOOO CRISIS *cough* CHRISMAS (+ hanukkah/kwanza/diwali <333) MONTH!! My experimental title for this piece :: Moonie floating far beneath the sky judging you :] . Though it's early in the month, I'm still really proud of a couple pieces I've made thus far AND OH MY MOONS THIS IS DEFINETELY ONE OF THEM- I'm experimenting with using references for colorpicking and rain world has an absolutely beautiful color pallate to pick from <33 Painted this with krita whilst utilising a couple of new techniques i spontaneously created in my head yay!!
