[ p l o t ] “the government has rampaged — nowhere is safe. stay silent, don’t take action. if they know that we know, we’re doomed.” follow 7: a 16-year-old who’s safely found xyr refuge on a deserted island, and libby: a young girl who is being directly involved in the conflict because of a government-tied brother, in the journey of running from the government because of many horrors that have endured.
prologue transcript [7’s pov]: [the episode starts with the blissful sounds of static, and then footsteps] *taps on mic* hello? is somebody there? *sighs in relief* i found this old radio by the corner of ever falls. to whoever’s listening, i’m afraid that it’s too late to do anything about it. *long pause* what is “it”, you ask? it’s a long story for anyone who hasn’t been through something like this. well, nevermind that, it’s hard to explain for people who have gone through it as well. but if, perhaps, this has gone back in time, beware. you have been warned. turn off all your house lights and stay there. hide in the cellar or basement or attic or bomb shelter. just stay away from the outside world, and — if you can — stay away from city hall. i don’t think i am allowed to tell you who i am or any of my whereabouts, but then again…*sigh* when have i not done anything i’m not supposed to? *hesitation* call me 7. not the s-e-v-e-n 7, just 7. don’t pry, just listen. the government has rampaged — nowhere is safe. stay silent, don’t take action. if they know that we know, we’re doomed. i’ve found myself on an island, somewhere. the exact location is unclear. but i do wish that you do the same — find somewhere no one can get to, before the most terrible crimes begin. arson is the worst one. it cannot even top murder, or the taking of young children from their homes. the government, the very one that you used to trust with your life, is burning down banks and holy sites and even public buildings like schools. but please, listener, don’t do anything. they are always one step ahead of us. always. don’t you know when to quit? life is only going to get harder, the government will only push further, until we’re nothing but hollow, soulless beings. *footsteps* i hear something — or possibly someone. i must go for now, but stay safe, listener. stay carefree, before the freedom it taken from you. *static stops* [end of episode]
