TALL GUY CHAP 2 PART 1 WITHOUT FURTHER EDITS, BY @THEGAMERWOLFEY Chap 2: I met Tall Guy I was walking home from school when time suddenly stopped in its tracks. Oh wait, I have to stop you in your tracks, I haven’t even said who I am yet, just blabbering about who I saw in my dreams I’m Belle Madden. I am 14, and I have long, dark brown hair down to my back. I have what is between a light and dark complexion that looks like caramel, and my eyes are dark as chocolate. I live with my dad and step-mom, and I’m so scared of anything happening to them. I just… have a bad feeling… Thought maybe it’d be a good idea to write that down too… Let me start over, then. I was walking home from school, and the air smelled fresh. I felt unusually joyous today. I decided to skip home instead of walking home, and the fresh cool air blew in my face. My hair was dancing in the breeze as I skipped my way back home. But as I skipped, I noticed the air was getting cooler. The wind was blowing harder. And then another figure just like Tall Guy, but with a slightly more worn down cloak, jumped in front of me and time stopped for everyone else in sight except me and him. He had cut on his arms and legs “Quick! We have to go!” He said. “What? No!” I snapped back. “Please, you have to trust me!” He said desperately. I had a feeling I should trust him. “Fine, then!” I said. “Be quiet and follow, hurry!” He whispered. He dashed off and I followed, and we ran a while before he ducked behind a tree, and I followed. “Who are you?” I whispered. “I don’t have a name.” He said. “What about Tall Guy?” I suggested. “Sure, I guess!” He shrugged. “What’s going on?” I said. “Later later, but long story short I’m not the one in your dreams, I was supposed to find and capture you but I refused, and so someone else pretended to be me, and I am an outlaw now. They said-” Just then, someone came rushing out of the brush near to us. “A Figure! Get him!” They said. “Figure hunter! They think I’m one of the bad ones!” Tall Guy shouted. “I’m not, though!” “Figures.” I joked. “Haha, not the time!” He said. He got up, but he winced in pain and I could tell he already used all of his energy. I didn’t know whether to believe him, but time was running out and they were charging at us. I decided to charge back. “Little girl, get out of the way!” They said. “I don’t know what I’m doing, but I’m wild and dangerous so maybe STAY BACK!” I shouted at them. They stopped dead. They looked at Tall Guy. “Got a human on your side, eh? Fine, we’ll stay away for now.” the Hunter said, but he didn’t seem like he wanted to mean it. They walked away in defeat, and I had no IDEA what I just did. “Uhh, what was that about?” I said, looking at Tall Guy. “I think they can’t object humans.” He said. “Wait wait wait, they’re not humans?” I said. “No, they’re Figure hunters, silly!” “I thought that was a group of humans! They look just like humans!” “That’s good, they’re supposed to, to blend in. Not good for Figures like me, obviously, but good for them, I guess.” He said, then sighed. Then suddenly, he got up in alarm. “Oh no, I forgot the other Figures are looking for us!” He said. He flipped around and so did I only to see a bunch of uncloaked figures, all looking slightly different in some way. Then, I saw that the person- uh no sorry Figure- in the front looked exactly like Guy, the fake one in my dream. Don’t get me wrong, I was ( and still am ) genuinely confused about what was happening and why.
TALL GUY CHAP 2 PART 2 WITHOUT FURTHER EDITS, BY @THEGAMERWOLFEY “WHAT are you doing with the human?” The Figure in front said. “I was just, uh, capturing her!” Tall Guy said. The Figure eyed me. “Riiiiight. You both have 5 seconds to leave before I capture you BOTH.” He said. He started counting. 5… We froze. 4… I didn’t know how, but I could tell he didn’t have very strong powers. 3… And that he’d be confused if I just teleported out of nowhere. 2… What if I..? “1!” He lunged at us. I closed my eyes, grabbed Tall Guy around his arm, and teleported before I even realized what I DID. We got teleported about three miles away, I knew that it was three miles away because three miles away was the store. I went there all the time. I let go of Tall Man and he looked at me in what I assumed was astonishment. “How did you do that?” he said. “I don’t know.” I said. He was still bleeding that black void bleed, I noticed. I hovered my hand over his wounds and they zipped up instantly. I stared at my hand. “How did you do that?” He said again. “I don’t know. Leave me alone.” I snapped back. I really didn’t know how I did that, or how I knew how to do that. “Sorry, I guess.” I imagined him frowning as he said that. We looked at each other for a while ( well, I think he was looking at me. I mean, his head was directed at me, I suppose ) before I spoke. “Just because you helped me means I help you back, but it doesn’t mean you’re my friend now, I still don’t completely trust you.” I said. “Fair,” he replied. “So, uh, you go back- wherever you can go now I guess- and I’m gonna go home.” I said. “I don’t have anywhere to go,” he said. He looked at me sadly; I could tell, even though there was no expression on his smooth, void-like face. “Fine, you can stay with me,” I said. “Stay. In. The. Attic.” I emphasized. “One night.” “Okay, thank you!” He said. “Whatever. Come on, let's go.” I said, then started off the journey back home with him trailing behind me. CREDITS~~~ Hi!!
