I made the logo in Photoshop, then separated the components of the logo into multiple images. Next, I used Sony Vegas Pro 13 to Animate it with a total of 500 frames, then exported the video to separate images. Lastly, I recompiled the images into a .gif in Photoshop. *Phew* That was a lot, at least it only took me about an hour or two :P Based on Google's Material Design transitions and animations.
