Today, (more like yesterday) I reached 50 followers on Scratch! So I'm continuing my Spider-Man series review to celebrate the occasion! Review: Ok, so they started making The Amazing Spider-Man because Spider-Man 4 was on its 4th rewrite, which was scheduled to come out in 2011. But 4 strikes and you're out, so Sony came to Marc Webb and said, "You can make a Spider-Man movie right?" And he gave a great answer. By us I mean everyone, I don't work for Sony, that would make my opinions biased. This movie is definitely a more modern version, but that doesn't mean it isn't dated. These 2 movies were obviously based on the comics, because he met Gwen before MJ (in the comics.) This movie was definitely a great fresh start, but I still wanna what would have happened if we had gotten Spider-Man 4. I was watching The Avengers a few weeks ago, and my brother said, "The Amazing Spider-Man was supposed to be in this." I have no idea how they would have worked that out since both movies came out the same year. That was back when the MCU was still run by Paramount though. I kind of wanna see what would have happened if Disney had never bought Marvel. That would be pretty weird when they bought Fox and the X-men and Fantastic 4 movies were on Disney+ but not anything else related to Marvel. Overall, this movie was pretty good. I would give it a 7/10.
Thanks again for 50 followers! Most of them are inactive, but I've got 50!
