A few days later, Rose was standing in the library. She was about to take out a book from the shelf when a boy suddenly appeared and snatched the book from her hands before she could get a hold of it. Rose's eyes narrowed as she looked at the person standing before her. With a tone of annoyance in her voice, she exclaimed, "HEY!" The intensity of her glare made it clear that she was not pleased with the situation at hand. Rose was feeling a bit annoyed as she heard someone say, "Chill Rosie!" She turned around and asked, "Leo?" to which the person replied, "Yep. It is me, the amazing Leo!" Rose couldn't help but roll her eyes at his self-proclaimed title. Leo greeted Rose with a warm embrace and expressed his delight at finally getting a chance to catch up with her after such a long time. "How have you been? It feels like ages since we last spoke," he said, eager to hear about everything that had been going on in her life since they last met. Rose's response was short and sweet, as she let me know that there wasn't much happening at the moment. She always keeps it real and straightforward with Leo. Leo's reaction was quite evident as he raised his eyebrow and exclaimed, "REALLY!" “Yeah?” Rose said. Then Leo took a book and smacked her with it. “Ouch! What was that for?” Rose said, rubbing her head. “For lying to me!” Leo said. "Could you please explain?" Rose asked, her voice laced with confusion and a hint of curiosity. Leo responded with a playful tone, pretending to cry like a child. "Wait a minute, you have a boyfriend and didn't even tell me?" he exclaimed. “Well, I forgot?” Rose said. Xavier stood behind her, his eyebrow raised in surprise as he spoke. Princess?" he said, his tone questioning her statement and causing her to turn around to face him. Roselette's heart skipped a beat as she heard the familiar and unexpected sound of Xavier's voice, causing her to freeze in disbelief. Xavier looked at Roselette with a smirk on his face and asked, "Princess, tell me, did you forget?" His tone was slightly teasing. Leo turned to the Roselette and Xavier in front of him, a smile on his face as he spoke. "It looks like you two have a lot to catch up on. I'm going to head out and give you some space. Have a great time!" he exclaimed before turning and running off. Roselette expressed her thoughts with a hint of sarcasm and a slight eye-roll as she uttered the words, "Great!" Xavier gently grasped Roselette's shoulders and tenderly turned her around to face him. As their eyes met, he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close into a warm embrace. Roselette's voice trembled with a mix of shyness and playfulness as she spoke, "Sorry, I was joking?" Her words hung in the air, leaving a hint of uncertainty about whether she had crossed a line or not. With a calm and reassuring tone, Xavier spoke up, "I know you were." As he leaned in to kiss her cheek, he conveyed a sense of comfort and understanding before turning to leave. Roselette blushed and went looking for a book.
