◇OO1~welcome hihi-! welcome to my first blog post, where i'll be giving my (unpopular) opinions about the scratch website as a whole. let's get into it! ◇OO2~article so, the first hot take is about the trending page. why is it so repetitive? if you click on art or music hoping to find actual art or music, most of the time you're out of luck, all it is is generic platformers and animations. i used to enjoy cloud platformers a lot, but i don't like the fact that nowadays the same kinds of projects just keep coming up on trending over and over and over. the second hot take is, why are bully1ng and hate comments suddenly a problem again? correct me if i'm wrong or just haven't been keeping up with scratch's mainstream, but it does feel like a lot of problems have resurfaced just over the past year or so. also, certain (not going to say names) fanbases on here have been toxic. i've personally been yelled at in comments sections a for not being into a certain fandom. the third hot take is, a ton of scratchers getting wrongfully banned. they'll try to stand up to the aforementioned hate comments or bullying and while the bullies get off scot-free, the victims don't and are often even ip-banned, just for defending themselves. i don't even think i need to explain any more here, this needs to stop. my last hot take is that there's such a divide between famous and ordinary scratchers. i don't think scratch should be considered a social media, and seen as the community's drawn a fine line between these classes of scratchers just makes the whole website feel more competitive and less friendly. ◇OO3~closing tl;dr, there's a lot i dislike about how scratch is run and moderated, but this isn't meant at all to be an insult to the st. i'd just like to share my opinions, that's all. bye for now~!! ◇OO4~credits ▸ image 《pin》 ▸ editing 《canva》 ▸ music 《pixabay》 ▸ writing 《scratch》 ▸ tags 《@aesthetic @opinions @scratch @all》 ⠀♫♪ .ılılıll|̲̅̅●̲̅̅|̲̅̅=̲̅̅|̲̅̅●̲̅̅|llılılı. ♪♫
