Hello! ₍^ >ヮ<^₎ It's another DTA entry hehe ₍ᐢ. ̫ .ᐢ₎ I saw @LunaFox999's DTA and I couldn't resist doing Shroom! She's too cuuute!!!! ૮₍˃̵֊ ˂̵ ₎ა Art by me @-CuteCatCafe- Character design by @LunaFox999 Here's the Bio ฅ/ᐠ. ̫ .ᐟ\ฅ: Name - Shroom Gender - Female Species - Mushroom cat Pronouns - She/her Sexuality - Straight Personality - Shy, kind, gentle, neat, quiet, helpful, always obeying orders, timid, afraid to stand up for herself, lovable, caring, smart Likes - Insects, her ladybug friend, medicine, potions, helping people, mushrooms, the forest, her home, being alone, the sound of the rain, sunshine, birdsong, quiet places, plants, nature Dislikes - Machines, humans, noisy places, scientists, large predators, dogs, confined spaces, laboratories, mean animals/humans, buildings and cities, chatting with others, people who capture wild animals, violence Backstory: The earliest thing Shroom could remember was being in a science laboratory. She was a science experimet. The moment she opened her eyes, she was enclosed in a small glass cage, and everyday a scientist would come and record down her behaviour. The scientists in the lab had merged the DNA of a mushroom and a cat to create Shroom. That time, she didn't have a name; she was just Experiment 339. However, Shroom felt bored and sad after days and days of just sitting there and being stared at. She decided to escape. But how? One night, when all the scientists had gone away, a little ladybug flew through the breathing holes of her cage and into the cell. Shroom glanced sadly at it. If only she could also fly through a hole... Suddenly, she had and idea. She whispered to the ladybug, "Hi little bug, could you please help me get the keys to my cage over there? I want to escape." Shroom pointed to where the keys were kept: in its own, separate cage with gaps just big enough for the ladybug to fit in. The ladybug stared at her quizzically, but did not move. Shroom sighed and slapped a paw on her forehead. Of course the ladybug wouldn't help her; it probably didn't even understand her! Just as she was about to turn her back on the little insect, the ladybug spread its crumpled wings and soared out of her cage, towards thew keys. Shroom gazed in astonishment as the ladybug slipped through the gap of the cage where the keys were kept and lifted the heavy keys. It flew in low, zig-zag motions towards Shroom and handed the key to her. Shroom, hardly believing this was happening, turned the key in the lock outside her cage and heard a little "click!" She jumped out of the cage and streaked towards an open window. The ladybug followed her. Together, they leapt out of it and Shroom saw the outside world for the first time in her life. It was loud and chaotic. She almost wanted to leap back into the window! A car roared on the road, a bird squawked on a roof, but the scariest thing was the HUMANS. They were EVERYWHERE!!!! Shroom needed to hide. Suddenly, the ladybug zoomed towards a large patch of land full of trees. "A forest!" She realised. Without hesitation, as if a strange instinct urged her to do so, Shroom followed. As she entered the forest, the chirping of birds and the rustling of leaves calmed her down. This is where she belonged. Shroom found a mossy cave by a stream and decided to live there. She also learnt how to heal animals with potions and herbs. Now Shroom lived a quiet life, healing animals and looking for herbs with her ladybug. Occasionally a traveller would stop by, and she was always happy to give it shelter for a day or two. Shroom preferred living away from other cats, she was content just being with her little insect friend. ~End~ Thanks for taking the time to read all this ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ♡ I'm sorry if the backstory is a bit long >.< Everyone who entered did amazing and I wish you all luck :)
