Coyotes - A mini book written by @-Sweet-Shadow- Chapter 1 Sylias woke up to the sound of his morning alarm. Tired, he turned off the loud blaring noise coming from his phone. "Get up Sy. It's time for school," His mother called from the other room. Groaning, he got up and looked at the mirror in the corner of his room. It was covered in fake ivy, and plastered in stickers from his favorite bands. He looked at himself, critiquing the many freckles that covered his tan skin. His frizzy brown hair was very messy but somehow still looked amazing. He reached into his closet, picking out an outfit for the day. He ended up choosing a green and brown grandpa sweater, and holey jeans that looked extremely old. "Good morning mother," Sylias said as unenthusiastic as he possibly could. "Oh it's only 5am Sy-guy. It's not /that early/," his mother replied. "Breakfast is on the table." Sylias sat down, staring at his off-brand fruit pebbles. He sat the spoon in the plastic bowl and watched it sank. He walked toward the kitchen to grab the orange juice, when he saw a flyer on the fridge. It read, "EIGHT GRADE COSTUME PARTY OCT. 31 8PM-11PM." "Oh yeah, I thought that might be fun for you and those friends of yours to go to," His mother said talking like it was midday. "Maybe," Sylias said while finishing his glass of orange juice. "But I think the bus is here." He quickly slipped his old navy blue converse with sharpied on paw lines. "Love you sweetie!" His mother called as Sylias ran out the door.
