The shortest day of the year is fast approaching, and with it comes the beginning of winter. The last survivable regions of the arena, those far from the explosion, certainly look the part- blanketed in a thick covering of white powder, a monochrome paradise. Though not all is as it seems, for rather than snow, the powder is in fact ash, and all that remains of the once thriving ecosystems on the volcanic slopes. With the howling winds and today's rumblings from what once was the peak of Mt. Capitosus, the ash is especially dense. Only a few enclaves of shelter remain, tucked away in the lava tubes that wind below the arena's surface. However, upon entering you may find that once again, you are not alone. The amount of tributes remaining are few. This is one of your last opportunities to seize a position among the victors, to be the lone survivor emerging from the battlefield. Due to the amount of ash, you must roll for how much damage you receive before starting the battle. You may not heal damage taken from the roll before combat.
