A1 - elfkin Q2 - Does your Alterhuman Identity affect your gender? A2 - no Q3 - Did you have a past life? If you recall any memories, what’s the most prominent one? A3 - i've had fantasy-themed dreams before, but i can't remember details, and i doubt it's related to my otherkinism. past life is a high potential Q4 - Spiritual or Psychological? A4 - spiritual mostly, potentially a bit psychological Q5 - Where would you prefer to be right now? A5 - in the forest, in some kind of elven kingdom, at a tavern Q6 - Do you experience Dysphoria? A6 - kind of- not necessarily about my body, but i do often feel out of place in the modern world and can feel fairly uneasy Q7 - Do you mental shift? If so what was your most interesting one? A7 - yes, i do. i had one where i was in my halloween costume (dressed as an elf) and i was walking around outside in the cold and listening to fantasy themed music, not too crazy but it's my most memorable Q8 - Do you experience phantom shifts? If so, what’s the most common limb? A8 - i've had two before - both with pointy ears Q9 - Fight, Flight or freeze? A9 - depends on the situation, but i rarely go for fight Q10 - Are you interested in trying/eating food that your kintypes consume? A10 - eh, elven diet isn't too different from a human diet other than being more vegetarian Q11 - What activity brings you the most euphoria? A11 - dressing fantasycore + wearing elf-inspired makeup Q12 - If you shift, what was the strangest shift trigger you had/have? A12 - i wouldn't call any of them strange, but music can trigger it randomly. basically just any folk song has the potential to do that for me Q13 - Nocturnal, Diurnal or crepuscular? A13 - nocturnal or crepuscular Q14 - Carnivore, Omnivore or Herbivore? A14 - omnivore Q15 - What’s an Alterhuman term you’d like to see brought to people’s attention more? A15 - basically any fantasy kintype. therians are more well known, but i think otherkin alterhumans should get some more recognition as well Q16 - Hot, cold or temperate? A16 - cold Q17 - When did you awaken, if you know? A17 - early october 2023, but i've felt this way for a long time (several years) before putting a label on it Q18 - What’s your favorite thing about being an alterhuman? A18 - the community is super chill, and having this label gives me the ability to feel more comfortable with myself. i've felt out of place for a long time, but having this label as otherkin gives me a stronger sense of grounding in who i am, and it brings me a lot of peace. Q19 - What’s your least favorite thing about being an alterhuman? A19 - how people don't realize we know we're human. i am fully aware i'm human biologically and physically, i just have a spiritual/soul connection to elves Q20 - Did you enjoy answering these?
