Song: Mirror Man (FROM OPAL) By Jack Stauber Mirror man comes from the Adult Swim small by Jack Stauber called Opal. I watched it a couple months ago and It really pulled on my heart strings, I suppose, in a non-extreme way, I somewhat emotionally relate to Claire. The song Mirror Man is about Claire's father, who's a narcissist. However, looking at the lyrics, I feel like he isn't a narcissist, more of someone who struggles with mass insecurity and constantly focuses on his looks, trying to fix himself because of probable bullying. There's theories that his wife abuses him, and I think that it's true. Also, without his face, he looks like he would be considered attractive, however when we see glimpses of his face, we can tell it's somewhat disturbing. Either, that's how Mirror Man pictures himself, or that's how Claire pictures him. This song is one of my favourites: They turn me down, now I live my nightmare (oh) Gotta be seen by someone out there (ah) Now I sit here in reflection chamber (oh) Fixing myself so that all can savour Follow me, I'm on the brink of visual epiphany Life is a costume array, oh, life's a wardrobe change So I can shift Create a rift with beauty and with grin Blush sensation creates a foundation God is in my skin They turn me down, now I live my nightmare (they turn me down) Gotta be seen by someone out there (they turn me down) Now I sit here in reflection chamber (they turn me down) Crafting the world its next new saviour Ngl, this song suits Elor more than I expected it would
