Information: In 1967 Blue Harbor Rapid Transit needed to plan a new line between Central Estates and Rolling Hills to provide a quick and rapid transit link for suburban residents in the developing neiborhood. After much political infighting and a brazen attempt to build a highway directly on the corridor it would serve in 1975 groundbreaking for the transit tunnel in the downtown was started at Central Estates. three years later phase one of the project was completed and rolling stock was required. After may failed contracts and an embezlement scheme VE was chosen to do build the stock. this being the first train VE had built without the help of outside contracters, alot of corners were cut in order to keep up with the project demands. This resulted in a rushed rolling stock that had many defects including doors that would get stuck open and brakes that were fixed on the applied setting. After a long and lengthy legal battle VE promised to provide a designated team to work on them and this is the reason why the Blue line only operates trains by VE to this day because of the high performance the team funded by VE outputs. After the lengthy refurbishments the trains reentered service with some mechanical troubles but still managed to have the highest miles traveled before mechanical faliure to this day. and even though most of the MK1 sets have been retired, a few sets were refurbished and continue their usual operation.
