- MERRY CHRISTMAS! - It's been 10 days since I teased this project, thought you might want to know how it's coming along. So, I decided that every 10 days, I'll put out a little update on the progress on this game. -CURRENT [ESTIMATED] COMPETION: 15%- Things are coming along rather well so far. The first stage is almost completed, needing some minimal tweaks to the boss's patterns to make it more fair and a few minimal bugfixes. Player engine, score counters, and most other essential items function as intended. Enemies for the first stage have also been completed and work properly. A few unused or scrapped concepts may be reused in later levels. Currently five total stages have been planned for the full game, with a boss at the end. The fifth stage will serve as a buildup to the final battle. @retrokid104 has been hard at work writing the soundtrack and making sound effects for the game. A total of three songs have been made and implemented, as well as a few sound effects. He's currently trying to decide which sound-chip to write with, so these songs may be remade or revised to fit the parameters of whatever he chooses. However, he has asked for your opinions, namely whether he should use the NES 2A03 chip or the Sunsoft 5B square chip [on its own, with no 2A03 channels added on]. In other news, development has been relatively smooth and with luck I'll be able to stave off burnout until the very end. -THANKS FOR VIEWING!-
