What EchoInTheStorm said: I thought it’d be fun to do this!! My art program is procreate, it has never failed to amaze me!! *heavily inspired by @SpottedFlight11 https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/903905904 Here we go! 1: lineart! I traced a drawing I did on paper, as I tend to do since I prefer to do more physical art! 2: I put my line art layer on reference, and my colour layer under it, to hide extra colour :) 3: I added flat colours! 4: I added, over my colour layer, two clipping masked layers, the one on top with add, the one on bottom multiply 5: shadows on the multiply layer, you can see the colour I used in the corner 6: hair highlights! 7: I use the watercolor brush on smear to make the texture more hair-like! 8: P O O F 9: I’m not entirely sure what I did here- *cough* 10: ok, so, I added another clipping mask on add, for all the other highlights! 11: added ✨luminance✨ 12: blurred the shadows with Gaussian blur! 13: I added a blurry fall background with the airbrush! 14: I added two layers on top: a multiply and an add, and added circular lighting revolving around her! 15: now, I added a blue overlay layer, blue to contrast the orange, and turned down the opacity! It adds i n t e r e s t!! 16: then, to finish it off, I took my special signature brush! 17: tada!! A finished piece!! This was fun!!
