Loss of a Friend --- I do miss you Sometimes I wish we could communicate the same But you said hurtful things Ignoring the consequences Those hurtful things formed a bruise A mark that will heal But you poke and prod it Making it hurt all the same You’re playing the role of victim In this fantastical world You pretend your being tortured And you are this poor child I get it You’re sad But you are very lucky You have support You have family You have friends But you abuse those relationships You take them for granted So you are losing them Though I’m still worried about you But you’re damaging yourself That is something I wish you knew
