Story continues: Komodo smuggled Erebus to the edge of the realm and gave him a potion, given to her by a merchant. It gave him enough strength to race to the portal that would take him back to the ice kingdom. As he ran he began to "unmelt", turning him back into an ice cat. That was when Yvetta arrived. She couldn't do anything to Erebus since he was almost through the portal, but she saw Komodo, bravely standing against her. Yvetta ordered her servants to stand back as she leapt on Komodo. "You revealed my secret to him!" Yvetta yowled, striking out. Komodo smiled through bloody lips. "You have the Flame Ring. He must know." Yvetta howled and, just as Erebus jumped over the threshold of the portal, she dealt the killing blow.
