So I'm doing a What If...? Season 2 review, even though I never did one for Season 1. But episode 2 was so good it convinced me. I'll just update this every time a new episode comes out Spoilers btw So episode 1: What if Nebula joined the Nova Corps? wasn't the greatest. Howard pulled it together. But episode 2: What if Peter Quill attacked the Earth's mightiest heroes? was so good and is the whole reason I'm even typing this right now. It takes place in the 80s, which is why it's still called Project P.E.G.A.S.U.S. The team consists of Ant-man, Giant-man Mar-vell, Black Panther, Thor, and The Winter Soldier. Don't worry, by the end of the episode he's Bucky again. This episode was basically the opposite of Season 1 episode 3. Episode 3: I don't know why I thought I could update this when the episodes came out, I left for vacation the day after Christmas. This was the Christmas episode they gave us, and it's awesome that it basically doesn't focus on the Avengers at all. If you're curious why Maria Hill the acting director of S.H.I.E.L.D., it's because this is 2014 and Nick Fury is "dead." I really liked the return of Darcy, she's been in the MCU a lot lately. Also, Justin Hammer being the villain for this episode is perfect. Episode 4: This one is cool because we get to see more of Korg. Okay, fine. I liked that Tony became a transformer in this episode. Also, it's funny how this episode was supposed to be about Gamora, but they just made it about Iron Man. I love this universe because Valkyrie and Korg get to rule Sakaar together, but I also hate it because the Guardians aren't a thing. Episode 5: This is the sequel to a past episode. It takes place during Winter Soldier, which is Black Widow's hair looks like that. Also, I can't believe Bucky is still alive. Well, Peggy died in Civil War so I guess it works. They go to a remote place in Scotland and they think they rebooted Steve. They go to Russia (I think. The exact location isn't given) and it reminds me of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. And Steve completely destroys this room. And at the end of the episode PLOT TWIST! Peggy gets sent back to 1602. Episode 6: This episode is very cool and you should watch it. And read it. Seriously, there are only like 3 English sentences in this episode. Episode 7: I didn't really like this episode since I didn't really like Shang-chi all that much. I mean Hela's cool but it's weird that we got 2 episodes based on past villains but whatever. It was kind of funny that Wenwu was using his rings to walk in space. Also, the title totally let me down here. I guess it was talking about the group not the actual 10 rings but I would have liked to see them on her. That would have been neat. Episode 8: This one is awesome because I actually like it. OK, that's obviously not why but I didn't really like the last episode all that much. This one takes place in 1602 and it's great because it actually continues something it set up a few episodes ago. I'm really confused about how Ant-man technology works in 1602 but I'm just glad he's in something other than What If...? Zombies!? Also, I love that Red Skull is supposed to be Peggy's executioner.
What If...? Season 2 is better than the 1st season kind of
