⬫◊ Chapter 15: Ford Anglia ◊⬫ "Ron! …Aurora?" Harry exclaimed, climbing up to the window and opening it so he could talk to them through the bars. Aurora smiled kindly from the back window of the old turquoise blue car floating in front of 12 Privet Drive. She didn't know when Ron had convinced her that this was a good idea, but she certainly couldn't let him go alone with the twins after she found out about their plan. Besides, they hadn't heard from Harry all summer... “Everything okay, Harry? What happened? You haven't responded to any of the twelve letters I sent you and my father told me that they have sent you a formal warning for using magic!!” Ron asked quickly. “It wasn't me. But how…?" Harry began to say, confused. “Ron's father works in the ministry. But don't change the subject. Why did you pull out your wand in front of the muggles? Harry, it's forbidden…” Aurora said. “It wasn't me! Look at that car, you're the ones using magic!” “Technically we didn't enchant it,” Ron explained, but he quickly fell silent when he heard a voice from inside the room. "What's going on? “Harry?” Aurora saw that the one who had spoken was a girl with long dark hair, who was rubbing her eyes from a small bed in the back. “Nothing, Ava, go back to sleep…” Harry said softly without turning to look at her. “Ava? Wait. You are his sister, right?” Ron exclaimed. “There is no time for presentations. We have to get them out of here NOW. Fred, the rope” Aurora said firmly. “At your service, miss” Fred threw them a piece of rope, which Ron tied tightly to the bars. “Harry, move away!” he exclaimed before George hit the accelerator. After a couple of tries, the grille slowly fell away from the window. Harry, mouth open in pure surprise, ran to the window again, this time with his little sister next to him. “But… all the Hogwarts things are downstairs… in the cupboard under the stairs.” Before he finished his sentence, Fred and George were already forcing open the bedroom door, looking for his belongings. As Ron coiled the rope, Aurora carefully jumped in. “Take everything. Already. I'll help you up" Aurora ordered. Then she turned to the girl. “Ava, right? Your brother talks a lot about you” she said, trying to use a sweeter tone, seeing her confused face. “I'm Aurora Black, one of her friends. Come with me, before your uncles wake up” Aurora took her hand without giving her time to think twice and helped her get into the car. Fred and George returned with the trunk, and when it seemed that everything was going to be fine... "PETUNIA!! THEY'RE RUNNING AWAY!" The one Aurora assumed to be Vernon Dursley came storming in and managed to grab Harry by the ankle before he finished getting into the Ford Anglia. The three Weasleys pulled hard at him until, finally, Harry's sock slipped off his foot, leaving Vernon yelling at them from the house. And so they flew over the city, the countryside and the rivers in silence, careful not to attract the attention of any muggle night owls until they reached the Burrow. “WHAT ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO BE THINKING?! You could have had an accident! Never… in my life… not Percy, not Charlie, not Bill… and AURORA!! What am I going to say to your godfather now?! What if something had happened to you?! I was not expecting this from you…" Everyone listened with their heads lowered to Mrs. Weasley's reprimand, which lasted a long half hour until she began to make breakfast for Harry and Ava, with a big smile on her lips. Ron, your mother is scary…” murmured Aurora, who had sat at the table, avoiding Molly's gaze. At that same moment, Ginny appeared on the stairs, yawning and in her nightgown, but she ran up after letting out a small scream when she saw Harry. Aurora, relieved to have an excuse, quickly got up. "If you'll excuse me... I'll be right back," she said as she went up under the confused and astonished gaze of Harry who, let it be said, still didn't understand what Aurora was doing there. She approached the door frame gently. “Ginny?” “Come in and close it,” she answered, from the bed, with her face covered by her pillow. “It's him, okay? That wonderful boy I've been telling you about. “He's Harry, and now he knows it… and he doesn't even know me,” she said, burying her face further into the pillow. Aurora walked over and sat on her bed, looking at her sympathetically. “It doesn't have to be that bad…” “Really, Arie?” she replied sarcastically. Then she sighed and moved away from the pillow, revealing her blushing face. “Enough talking about me. Now that you know who I'm talking about... are you going to tell me once and for all what's going on between you and that guy Theo?”
