Hello, my name is Painty or Miao, I use he/they pronouns, I am aroaceflux and agender. I’ve been a member of the Gaehive for roughly 2 years. (Old acc: @chxrry-bomb ) I am 12 and I’m usually online throughout the entire day. Times when I’m inactive are usually 8 am cst- 4 pm cst due to school, but I am able to be on scratch sometimes during the school day. I feel like my constant activity would make me a good manager. This allows me to see what the main problems are in the studio. The more active I am the more I get to see. Some downsides to be being a manager may be my irritability. I tend to be very irritable, especially when I’m trying to handle an ongoing problem. This can cause me to snap, although I try to remain positive and calm. I don’t do well when I’m being constantly pressured about one thing. Some unique this that I could bring to the position are constant positivity and more recognition to some of the less popular Gaehiveians. One problem in the Gaehive that I think I could help fix is the hostility towards new members. I find that when people introduce themselves they tend to get a bit more friendliness and trust. Implementing a rule that you have to introduce yourself before you curate would help with this. This might also help prevent trolls from becoming curators. I think I would help fix the overall vibe of the Gaehive. As of recent it feels like the studio has been less of the safe space that it was set out to be. As a manager I would put the comfort of our members before anything else. Here are some people who I think deserve the title of manager. @GaehivePaneraBread- Panera is always very positive and active. It’s seems like they’re always bringing joy to the hive, and I admire her for that. @GaehiveOutofContext I feel like they are also very positive, as well as responsible. He’s also been in the hive for quite a while, and I think that makes her very worthy of the role. @carovity Carol is active and tends to stay calm during stressful situations from what I’ve seen. Thanks for reading.
