So Saph is purple and Slash is like red-orange because the background isn't supposed to match the thumbnail background Smoke is like somewhere near the thrones offscreen he's fine All characters in the series will be creatures that are a mix of various animals. All of them have unique powers, but only a few. They all have features of real animals except for the royal family, which always has some sort of dragon feature (most commonly dragon wings).
