NOTE: This is fanmade. In 2009, Martha Speaks debuted a British English dub on Five's Milkshake! and Playhouse Disney (later Disney Junior). This dub was produced by Flix Facilities, however only the first 3 seasons were dubbed (with seasons 2 and 3 combined into one season). CBBC also aired Martha Speaks in the UK from 2009 until 2012, however only the original American version was aired. It later aired on Tiny Pop, but again, only the American dub was aired on that channel. Here are some screenshots from Milkshake! broadcasts of these 2 episodes from season 1 (2008-2009): Here's Martha! (2008) (aired October 11th, 2009) and Dog Fight (2008) (aired 12th October 2009). Show: Martha Speaks (2008-2014) Dubbing Studio: Flix Facilities Aired on: Milkshake! (Five/Channel 5) (2009-2018), FIVER (Milkshake!) (2009-2011), Playhouse Disney/Disney Junior (2009-2014) Voice of Martha: Janet James (season 1), Joanna Ruiz (season 2-3)
Lines changed: - In the theme song, some of Martha's dialogue lines were changed (for example, "Hey Joe, what do you know?" is replaced with "Hi there Joe, what're you doing?"). However, this only applies to the UK opening in Season 1. Differences in this dub: - For the theme song, in the UK dub of Season 1, the singer's voice remains unchanged and is retained from the original American dub, while starting in Season 2, the singer is different. - Martha's UK voice in Season 1 was done by Janet James, who also did the UK voices of Pablo in The Backyardigans and Wubbzy in Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! and also voiced Zooter in Jungle Junction (which was actually a British-American co-production); additionally, her UK Season 1 voice was more cheery-sounding and loud and very nearly sounded identical to Wubbzy's UK voice. Starting in Season 2, she's voiced by Joanna Ruiz instead, and her UK voice sounds much more identical to her original American voice (done by Tabitha St. Germain).
