Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! This art was inspired by a ballet I’ve seen. The reason the ballerina doesn’t have arms is because you don’t need arms to express. You don’t need to be 'normal' to do what you want and love. Also, it reminded me of a worn down, well loved ballerina music box, or like old statues of woman, when the arms were missing. The no~face/hair part is that this could be anyone, not directed at one particular type of person. And complete anonymity, no specification on what the ballerina has to or is supposed to look like. Sometimes the most beautiful art is the most simple, not a huge scene or anything, rather something small representing something big. I think I’m going to start sharing some arts with more different skin tones, any and all skin colors and tones, even if it isn’t realistic.
