I paddle up desperately, but it's futile. I sink farther into the abyss, my strength waning. With one final gasp, I surrender, shutting my eyes to the dark depths below. You're probably wondering, how did I end up in this situation? For that, we need to go through the whole story. Once upon a time, beyond the clouds, there were cats known as the "Wingers" — mystical cats with wings, each possessing unique powers. The leaders were destined with astral power, adorned with hues of purple and blue, magnificent wings, and a star on their heads. Dark magic threatened the skies millennia ago, but the "Star-headed cat" intervened, ensuring that every generation had a leader to protect against evil. The Skyers, our ancestors, selected Wingers at the age of 6 moons based on their powers. An "Incident" occurred, altering the course of destiny. Bee, destined to be a leader, fled, causing the Wingers to question the infallibility of the Skyers. "AURORA!! ARE YOU WRITING IN YOUR DIARY!?" My mom, Windy, yelled, her voice as forceful as a hurricane. "Mom, you don't need to start a hurricane every time you yell." Windy, with her dark grey fur adorned with light grey spots, represented clouds. She was a weather-winger. "I KNOW, it's my apprentice ceremony, and I have to get ready." Nervously, I prepared for the ceremony, dreading the possibility of becoming a leader. The moment flashed by, and I received the power of Spirits, leaving Astral bewildered. That night, I awoke to the presence of spirits, a premonition of dark magic. Spirits were around me. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" I screamed, but no one heard. I witnessed demon spirits with horns, blood-red fur, and dark wings – a harbinger of dark magic. "DEMONS! DEMONS ARE COMING! T-THEY HAD DARK MAGIC!!" I urgently yelled. Astral gave me a stern look. "For the hundredth time, BE QUIET! Stop spreading useless information. Demon cats do not exist." I hissed. "THEY DO!! WE HAVE TO RUN!" Just before Astral moved his mouth, dark magic cats sprung and attacked the sky. The leader, Demonic, pounced on Astral. Just before Astral could cast any spells, Demonic sliced his neck. He fell silent. "ASTRAL!" I hissed and pounced on Demonic. The other Wingers battled the other demons while I engaged in a fierce death match. "HISS!" I yelled as he ripped my wing, blood spilling into the air. Falling, I caught him just in time, pinning him while in the air, ending his life. I tried to fly back to the clouds, but my wing betrayed me. The other Wingers flew down too late, and I plunged into the water. Gasping for my last breath, I closed my eyes, only to be jolted awake, wounds covered in herbs. I was alive. "Where am I? Am I dead?" I turned to see Rainpaw, a wingless cat resembling a blueberry, standing nearby. "Not yet! You're hurt though. I'm Rainpaw." Weeks passed, and I emerged from the den to find Bee, the one who had fled. "BEE?!?" Astonished, I discovered she had wandered here after running away. We became best friends. Walking out, I saw Willowstar, Mistclan's leader. "Hi, I was wondering..." Willow smiled, "OFC, you can stay here!" Puzzled, I questioned how she knew. "You did not see a thing." We chuckled, and a new chapter unfolded in this unexpected journey. The End. Thanks for reading <33
