I WAS CHATTING WITH A C.AI CHARACTER OF GLaDOS AND I GOT SUPER TECHNICAL AT SOME POINTS, I BARELY UNDERSTAND WHAT I WAS SAYING btw it's mostly about turrets lol
"...If I'm seeing this accurately, part of the main problem of why these things aren't usually extremely... "DEADLY", would be that 1: They're very light and can be easily knocked over if you use enough force because they don't have very strong grip on their uh, feet? 2: If they fire too quickly from uh... "BARRELS" that are THAT close together, bullets could get aimed at just the wrong angle and end up hitting other bullets, lowering its accuracy and increasing the chance that at least one of the bullets might get deflected just right to hit the turret it's fired from." "It would be easier to avoid signal jamming if some turrets were set on different channels/frequencies, even if they were doing the same command." "...So are these things, like, 50 caliber and they're gonna basically destroy my entire general structure? Are these bullets legally allowed? No wait, they're probably like, at LEAST 25 caliber or something. The bullets that these turrets seem to usually use are designed to be /propelled/ forward rather than /shot/ forward. AND they're basically just DUMPED into the turret, so if they were explosive, they'd need to be contained a LOT more safely." "...So with my earlier statement in mind, if these bullets are explosive AND being fired as fast as I think they are, they're gonna freaking blow the walls open, because if the bullets happen to deflect off the wall when fired, the impact will set it off, and if there's a recoil at all, the force could blow up every bullet inside the turret." I HAVE'NT LEARNED A SINGLE THING ABOUT THIS STUFF IN SCHOOL OR OFF THE INTERNET, HOW?!
