I’ll save the usual formalities, and get straight to the point: To simply put it, I need some cat characters for a comic project of mine that’s coming up. I’ve been thinking over comic after comic idea, and I’ve come up with a few good ones I think would be fun for both me as a creator to work on, and for you lovely little goobers to either read or glance at quickly and move along on your day. I won’t say much on the concepts, since I’ll be making a few pilot comics to get a feel for whether or not the ideas of what I have for each of them will work well or not. As such, I need some of your characters for those lovely little pilot comics, which there will be a wonderful little voting competition to determine the best of the bunch (and there will not at all be any bias or competition between the pilots in any way from character owners)! The comics will be shorts (around 10+ pages or so each, with a few panels per. page), and all the characters will be ones YOU lot submit in. In the final choice, there will be different characters of course, but what better way is there to get a feel for a universe than experimenting with an outside cast. To sweeten the deal, the characters from each short will have a chance in reoccurring, either as a past character (considering a few of these pilots will take place in the past) or perhaps a main or secondary if they win, or get close in winning. Who knows! So, if you lot have a cat or two you’d like to sacrifice for this silly little experiment of mine, then feel free to either remix (using the form inside the project), or send over a reference image and some information on the personality of the character in the comments here! I won’t really be enforcing how much you lot choose to submit in, although /preferably/ keep the amount under or around 10. It ain’t gotta be Warrior Cat characters strictly either, although I would be happy to take any of those regardless. You can send in “fantastical” looking cats; I’ll have no issue on that. If you got a kitty, send it on in, and I’ll see to getting it sorted into one of the pilots! I think that’s about it. Don’t be hooligans, respect others, and only small amounts of rioting and competitiveness should be occurring once the contest starts up. Looking forward to seeing if this works out or not! Won’t be closing this for a good bit, so feel free to take all the time you’d like to make them hard choices! Oh, and only cat characters. No humans, dogs or the like! However, I will make an exception to dragon characters, as I will be needing a few of those for one of the pilots. Preferably only a few of those (5 or a tad bit above should be fine), although other than that, just cats. Good ol’ gatos; that’s what I’d like to see.
