These mutts are so horrid, the can barely be called mutts, taking the form of your character’s greatest fear and amplifying its fear factor until it is a creature that gives nightmares nightmares. These monsters guard the halls of Mal’s castle, but only in the dark. If anyone is out in the halls at night, they are never seen again. The mutt stalks up to you, and it screeches an awful howl, ready to attack. Will you survive your worst nightmare? - Event Info - Your character has to face a Mutt that has taken the form of their worst fear, twisted into a nightmarish monster. These mutts have 25hp each, and they have a unique ability that varies depending on what they are, making them even harder to defeat. Not to mention that during this event, the tributes are inflicted the following debuff. [ Horrified - “The afflicted tribute is so scared by what they have witnessed, that they are too frightened to use items aside from weapons. [such as Armor, Poisons, etc.]” ] Attached to the mutt’s body by a chain is a little glowing ball that hovers in the air, dragged along with the creature. They are called Hunter-lights, and they help the mutts find their prey. If you defeat the mutt, the Hunter-light attached to it will be freed, and lead you out of the dark. For Jessie, his Mutt has taken the form of Alyss, turned into a monster with d33p cuts and s0uless eyes, crying tears of bl00d as she grins down at him. Her claws crimson red, her calico pelt now turned into a r0tting reanimated c0rps3. Will he survive the guilt? [ Ability - Sorrowful wail - “This Mutt wails with sadness and pain, causing the opponent to feel the same painful sorrow themselves, and cancels out their roll. Can only be used 2 times per battle.” ] For Spirit, she faces a long serpent of poisonous plants, 4 long fangs of white snakeroot, 4 eyes of huge deadly nightshade berries, and a forked tongue of Monkshood. Poison k!lled Spirit once, will poison k!ll her again? [ Ability - Poisonous bite - “When this Mutt lands a successful attack, the opponent takes 0.5hp more damage if it’s a minor attack, 1hp more damage if it’s major, and 2hp more damage if it’s a Severe attack.” ] For Kitsune, she faces a huge h3llish Spider, like a horrific reincarnation of Arcadi, except with lif3l3ss yellow eyes, longer fangs, and four mantis forelimbs with rigid spikes to grab and attack. Its smaller arms have three rigid claws on the end. This mutt is hungry. Will Kitsune become the main course? [ Ability - Relentless Hunger - “The powerful hunger of this creature causes it to be unable to dodge, but it takes 1hp less damage from attacks, meaning normal minor attacks do nothing to it.” ] And for Darksilver, a horrific blend of a once familiar feline and a cold grey sea slinks closer. Silver fur matted and drenched, tears streaming from the teal, glowing orbs that it has for eyes behind it, like ribbons, while it’s steel bones are visible through the grey liquid patches all over it’s body. Grey ice fangs, and claws of sharp steel, this creature probably traumatized its own creator. [ Ability - Silver Frost - “Tributes touched by its metal claws or icy teeth are frozen with fear, causing their damage to be halved for their turn. If they full dodged or half dodged, this ability doesn’t take effect.” ] Good luck!

Player 1’s turn - No dodge, Major attack -> [Ability takes effect now] Player 1 = 14hp. Mutt = 24hp Ind. Mutt’s Turn - [Ability effect disappears]No dodge, Minor attack -> Mutt = 24hp. Player 1 = 13hp Ind Darksilver’s Mutt’s ability takes effect as soon as the target gets hit/during damage calculation, and halves the damage taken from the opponent’s attacks. This effect only lasts one turn, and the target is cured at the start of the Mutt’s next turn.
