Christopher woke up to the sound of Jackson screaming. “Eww!” He was saying, “I accidentally ate the poop one!” He was clutching a box of Bertie Botts'. He then put on a sour face. Christopher rolled on his bed, “Thanks for waking me up.” He said sarcastically. “On the other hand, I won't be late for class.” Jackson was speechless, “Oh…sorry, Christopher.” He said, blushing. “No, it's ok, Jackson. Really.” Jackson didn't say anything else. After all of them dressed with their brand new Ravenclaw robes, they went to the Great Hall together, to eat breakfast. They went to the Ravenclaw table. Christopher saw the Ravenclaw first year girls were already there. They were Andrea, Artemis, Oliver’s twin Amara, a girl called Penelope Starling, and Elizabeth. He heard Artemis saying, “Chris, Chris! Come sit with me and Elizabeth!” Christopher didn't know what to tell her. He looked for Oliver, “Oliver, Oliver.” He hissed, “Come sit with me.” He got ahold of Oliver’s arm and dragged him to sit on Elizabeth’s side. Then, Christopher sat on Artemis’s side. “Hi cuz,” Christopher told Artemis. “Hey!” Artemis told him. “Hi, Oliver.” She then said, blushing. “Hi, Artemis.” He said, also blushing. It was clear they liked each other. Christopher served himself the same food Artemis had served. That confirmed that his cousin had the same taste he had. “Attention!” Professor McGonnagall barked after a while. “Your Head of House will go to your table to give you your schedules.” Professor Nightshade, Professor Longbottom, Professor Enchantara, and Professor Evergreen went to their correspondent tables. When Professor Enchantara passed by Christopher, she gave him a schedule and whispered in his ear, “You're sister is a rather special student of mine. I hope you are as well!” Christopher was speechless. He just smiled at her, and looked at his schedule. Today, they had a free period until 9:45. So, he had time to examine the common room and catch up with Andrea and Artemis, which he couldn’t at night. Then they had Defense Against the Dark Arts. Caspian was excited at the thought that his Grandma was going to teach him Defense. They then had Charms, which Christopher was excited about, because he would know Professor Enchantara better. “Our first class that we are going to share with another house is Hufflepuff.” Amara Ravenshadow said. All the Ravenclaw first years looked at the Hufflepuff’s, which looked back at them. Christopher kept staring at the schedule. After Charms, they had Lunch. And then their last class, History of Magic, with the Gryffindor’s. They then had free time until dinner, which was at 8:35. Christopher was excited, but Elizabeth blew it all up. “I heard that the History of Magic is taught by a ghost. That’s supposed to be the worst class.” Christopher chose to ignore her. After dessert, owls started soaring in the great hall. “Great!” Artemis said, happily. “The Morning Owl Post!” A card, and two boxes landed on Artemis. “This is from Mum and Father!” Artemis opened the card. “Awww!” Artemis said. “They also told you Christopher, congratulations on getting Ravenclaw!” “Uncle Harry and Aunt Ginny?” Christopher asked, while taking a small bite of treacle tart. “Yes. And they even bought you a gift!” She handed Christopher a box with his name on it. Christopher opened it. It was a Quaffle, a Quidditch ball. Then, there was a card that said, ‘Good luck on Chaser!’ Christopher looked at Artemis, and Artemis looked at him. “How did they know I was trying out for Chaser?” Artemis shrugged. “I got the same. Well, almost.’ She showed him a Snitch, another Quidditch ball. And in the snitch it said, ‘Good luck on Seeker!’ “Are you going to try for Seeker?” Christopher asked Artemis curiously. “Yep.” She replied. “There was a note on the common room, saying they need a new Chaser and Seeker for the Ravenclaw team!. Maybe we could try out!” Christopher was unsure. “Maybe…” He said quietly. Suddenly, something fell on his Treacle Tart. It was a letter. He took it. It was from his Mum and Father. Inside, it said, “Dear Chris, Congratulations on getting into Ravenclaw! It's ok to be the first one in the family! That means you're special. We hope you have fun on your first day! Please come home on Christmas with Anna. We already miss you. Send Char a letter all about the teachers and your first day. And the Sorting! She's dying to know. But only if you have time. They will probably give you homework on your first day. Who are your friends? We hope we talk soon! Good luck!, Kind regards, Angelina and George.” He closed it and walked out of the Great Hall.
