[LAST UPDATE (kinda)] A remaster for a game I made 2 years ago. Updates are currently on hold as I work on better projects. ===== Press X to pause at any time! Use WASD to move, mouse to look around. Hold SPACE to run. Collect the orbs! At least 8 are needed to count as a win! Enemies and other mechanics are explained ingame. And more to come in the full project! ===== Continue reading for enemy spoilers: Mimic: Mimics an orb, but will turn off your light after being near it long enough. Kills upon collection. Follower: Red circle. Progressively gets faster with each orb collected. Stalker: Grey circle. Will slowly stalk you, entering chase mode once close enough. Catch it in your line of sight to scare it away. Runner: No visual. Turn off your light when you hear running. It only has one frame where it can kill you. Watcher: Grey/blue circle. Upon seeing you, will enter pursue behavour until within range. Do not move in the blue light. The Blind: White circle. Be quiet. Darkness: Don't stay in the dark for too long. Traps: Will spawn throughout the map, watch your step. the rest is up to you to figure out lol
Change log: v1.5: Last one for a while. - 3 new enemies! 2 of which have a chance to appear in normal gameplay. - Added 12th map. - Watcher enemy reworked (old one still exists as ID3). - Roland can now spawn on maps 1, 3, and 11 along with hiding spots (this was harder to do than it should've been lmao). - Fixed the turrets on map 8. - Traps can no longer spawn outside of the map. - Found out that Runner (and the new Watcher) do not pause properly using the in-game feature, but can't be bothered to fix it. - Finally remembered to change the version number on the title screen- v1.4: - Orbs and Mimics now have entity IDs A and B respectively and can be removed from the ACTIVE IDS sprite. - Added 11th map for this week's challenge. - New enemy and mechanic introduced. - Added in-game ambiance musik :0 - Slightly changed Watcher's movement during Wonder State. - Stalker is now faster again and his sound ques have been adjusted. v1.3: - Minor bug fixes. - More title screen variations. - Most entity sounds are now semi directional. - Added map select button. - Added 10th map. - Added door/button mechanic. - Stalker's sound cue is now louder. - Altered Stalker's mechanic for this week's challenge ;) - Added cause of death to death screen. v1.2: - Added 9th map and weekly challenge. - Added turrets. - 2 new enemies. - All enemies have unique identifier symbols. - Follower now has an entity ID (ID0). - Lowered Follower's max difficulty modifier. - Adjusted Mimic's chance to turn off the light. - Slightly altered Runner's sound cue. - Traps are no longer guarantied to spawn and no longer have a ghost effect. - Trap spawn amount slightly adjusted. - Stalker is slightly slower. - Watcher now only kills on the frame it flashes, and is easier to avoid. Flashes are also unevenly spaced. - Altered Stalker's spawn conditions to allow for more varied gameplay with or without Angel. v1.1: - Added a new map because I was bored. - Fixed a bug where Watcher would kill on contact. - Runner will attack less often. ============ Notes: This version is only half of what I have planned and is also quite outdated. The full game will be completely remade and feature much more balanced gameplay and cool mechanics.
