I'LL ADD MORE LATER!!* So I know this project isn't very aesthetic but I'm going to be posting it anyway, so basically this is the book I'm writing and its kind of like a fantasy, fiction, romance, young adult kind of book but in the Notes and Credits is where the beginning of the prologue is. Also if you press the green flag I also have a mood board for the book too!! Hope you enjoy! <3
Icy wind slashed at my face and the rain danced its evil dance upon my head as I tried to get my bearings on the ivy-covered balcony. My hair whips at my face and mixed together with the rain it was almost impossible to see. I sob, not bothering to cover it up, the rain did enough. “Why?!” I scream. “Why? Why me!?” I put my head into my hands sobbing, thankful that no one can see me right now. I look up and look into the storming forest, the wind howling. The forest has dark tree trunks, shadows under the trees, and overhanging limbs on the small overgrown path. I run my fingers through my sopping wet hair still crying. I rub at my face with my fingers, makeup smearing across my cold and rosy cheeks. I trace my shaking fingers along my wet dress. “Why…” I whisper softly. I fall to my knees and sob again. The water pours down my head and rain droplets fall into my eyes. I sit there for a while crying, not caring about how I appear. I close my eyes sobbing softly. After a few minutes I open my eyes, everything blurry from tears or the rain I don’t know. I stand up slowly, my fingers still trembling. I run my fingers through my wet tangled hair again and as soon as I take my fingers out the wet blonde mess just falls back into my face. I shiver from the cold and rub my fingers across my skin. I turn back to my balcony door the warm glow inside, the nice clean bed, and the soft carpet inviting me in promising to keep me warm from this cold stormy night. I turn away from my room, closing my eyes again before sighing softly. After another minute or two I turn back towards my room stepping inside my wet dress and hair dripping on the floor. I hurry to my bathroom putting on a fresh clean plain white nightgown. I squeeze out my wet hair into the sink, and rub it dry with a towel. I use fresh warm water and rub it all over my face making sure there is no more smeared makeup. I dab my face dry with a different clean towel and sigh. I look at myself in the mirror for a minute before turning off the light and closing the door behind me. I take a moment to look around my clean room before turning off all the lights and climbing into bed. I stare up at the ceiling for a little while before closing my eyes not knowing what's going to happen next.
